I wasn't a giant fan of this book. I didn't particularly bond with any of the characters until closer to the end. I was pulled in by the synopsis, but unfortunaetely the book didn't owe up to the synopsis. In the end I really enjoyed the interesting concept and new idea. It was really fresh and enjoyable.

I also didn't really like how there was minimal details and when there was details, I still didn't really understand what was going on. Although, I may blame that on being quite absorbed in school work and training. I really hope to be able to re-read this book in the future, I believe I may enjoy this book quite a bit more a second time around.

Review: Sadie's War By Jayelle Cochran

This book started out slow but as you got to around a little more than halfway, I was hooked. I wasn't a big fan of the main character, Sadie but that's because she consistently was worried about every little thing and that bugged me. I loved the fact that she is blind, that's definitely a new concept for me to read about. Not many books have or focus of blindness, especially in the YA section of literature.

I also loved that she was an elemental, I'm a big Avatar the Last Airbender fan (the original show with Aang, not Kora!) So anything with elemental weilding heroines is spot on with me!

Review Week!

I have, over the course of a month, acquired a lot of R2R books from authors. Well, starting October 10th to October 17th lots and lots of reviews will be posted (Review Week #1)! Including non R2R book reviews (aka my own pleasure reads).

Once that whole week is over, my next Review Week (#2) will take place starting on November 20th to November 27th.

Review Week #3 will start on December 18th to December 28th (no reviews will be posted December 24th and 25th!).

For authors requesting me to review your book, before Review Week #1 your review will be scheduled for Review Week #2. I AM & WILL ACCEPT ALL REVIEW REQUESTS UP UNTIL DECEMBER 10TH!

If your an author and would like a promo or interview or giveaway or anything like that, I am accepting those requests too. Review Weeks are meant for me to review books that are less known, maybe self published, and are helping authors gain some notice.
