My Rating: 3.5 Out Of 5 Stars

My Review:

Mel is human, more accurately she's all in for Team Human. She doesn't hate vampires completely but she's  happy she doesn't have to interact with any of them. But when Vampire  Francis enrolls in her school, her life takes on a turn for the worst. When her best friend Cathy falls completely head over heals in love with vampire Francis, Mel desperately tries to make Cathy quit loving Francis. & if a vampire seducing her best friend isn't enough, her other friend Anna is desperate for some answers about her father's disappearance and asks Mel to help her. Along the way, Mel uncovers truths she wishes she didn't, learns to accept the inevitable, and falls in love.

Honestly this story was written well enough that it got me hooked, made me want to know what happens next. But, truthfully, this story wasn't all together fantastic like I was hoping.

Mel is a great character, she's a great friend and she didn't really make that many dumb decisions. But, I wasn't very attached to her or any of the other characters. I did like Kit though, he was funny.

I also get why this is said to be a Twilight parody of sorts. There was the whole insta love on Cathy & Francis's end. Basically all of Cathy & Francis's scenes could be related to Bella & Edward.
