My Review:

My Rating: 4/5 stars

I really enjoyed this dystopian book. Though I gotta admit that I am a sucker for a good dystopian novel.

Ruination starts off with making you want to know more. It starts off getting you hooked and needing to know what happens next. I personally could not read this book fast enough. This story kind of reminded me of Divergent & Matched. How you take a test/pill/syrum and in the end it tells you what your job is to be, who you'll marry, where you'll live. A government taking control of its people's lives. At the same time this book was nothing like Divergent & Matched due to the how the world building was set up, how the romance was dictated, etc.

I really loved the way I bonded with the characters straight off the bat. Also, the whole theme and feel of this book felt pretty intense.

I definitely cannot wait for book 2 to come out!

  2. I have been avoiding dystopian for a while because I was fed up of the genre, but have recently fallen in love with it again. This is one I have received for review, so I am looking forward to when I get to try it!
